If you need a comfortable place to stay near Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport, or if you’re looking for a spacious, budget-friendly 4 star hotel in Paris, Hyatt Place Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is a solid option to consider.
As a 4-star property located right near the airport, the rates here are significantly lower compared to downtown Paris hotels. If you want space, modern amenities, and great room conditions at a reasonable price, this hotel hits the sweet spot.

Room Tour & First Impressions
The moment I stepped into the room, I couldn’t believe how spacious it was. If you’ve ever stayed in central Paris, you know just how tiny those hotel rooms usually are, so having this much extra space was such a huge relief.

The design features warm yellow accent tones, giving the entire space a cozy, modern, and cheerful atmosphere.

The room includes a deep sofa that’s almost the size of a single bed.

It was great having a Nespresso machine right in the room whenever I wanted a fresh cup of coffee.

One subtle feature I genuinely appreciated was the lighting. Most European hotels rely solely on dim mood lamps, making it nearly impossible to do makeup or pack bags. This room offered both warm yellow accent lamps and bright overhead lighting, which made a huge difference.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean and sleekly designed. Instead of an outdated shower curtain that constantly sticks to you or floods the floor, it features a proper glass door shower stall with a flexible handheld shower head.
Lobby & Amenities
The lobby is clean, stylish, and welcoming. Instead of standard water dispensers, they provided a refreshing welcome drink infused with lemon and cucumber.

While there aren’t many shops in the immediate neighborhood, the lobby operates a small 24/7 grab and go corner stocked with snacks, sandwiches, and drinks.
Honest Pros & Cons
To be clear, there are a few pros and cons worth noting before booking.

The main drawback is that it’s not in central Paris. Getting to top sights like the Eiffel Tower takes about 1.5 hours by public transit, and while Ubers are faster, Paris traffic can be heavy. There’s also not much going on right outside the hotel.
On the plus side, it’s unbeatable for the airport. Just a 10minute Uber ride to CDG, making it ideal for early flights or layovers. You get a huge, modern 4 star room for a fraction of central Paris prices, and the staff were exceptionally warm and helpful throughout.
Final Verdict
I highly recommend Hyatt Place Paris CDG Airport for travelers with an early morning departure or overnight layover at CDG. It’s also a great money saving choice for families or honeymooners who prefer a spacious, modern room over a tiny central city apartment.
