Today I’m sharing my honest review of The Westin Los Angeles Airport, where I stayed during my recent trip to LA! I’ll cover everything from the room setup and club lounge breakfast to how the free airport shuttle bus works.
When booking my trip, I was traveling with my parents, which meant three of us needed to share a single room. Finding a well-priced hotel near LAX with two queen beds wasn’t easy, but I managed to lock in a great package deal that even included complimentary access to the club lounge for breakfast.
Prices can vary depending on your travel dates, so it’s always a good idea to check current availability before planning ⬇️

Two Queen Beds Room & Room Condition
Stepping into the room, my immediate impression was how clean and refreshed everything felt, which is pretty typical for Marriott properties.

The layout was spacious enough for three adults. It was equipped with a large TV, a small couch, and a coffee table. My parents were extremely comfortable throughout our stay.

In terms of in-room amenities, there was a coffee maker right inside the room, and ice vending machines were located on every floor. Making an iced Americano first thing in the morning was super convenient!

The beds felt a little closer to double size rather than a generous queen, which was a tiny bit unexpected, but they were still comfortable enough for three people to get a good night’s rest. Keep in mind that room slippers aren’t pre-placed in the room, but you can easily request a pair from the front desk downstairs.
Airport View & Bathroom Details

Our room offered a direct view of planes taking off and landing at LAX. You could hear a bit of aircraft noise from time to time, but it wasn’t overwhelming at all. When staying right next to a major international airport, a little plane sound is just part of the experience.

The bathroom was spotless, featuring strong water pressure, reliable hot water, and smooth drainage. Basic toiletries were provided, though toothbrushes and toothpaste are not included, so you’ll want to bring your own.
Hotel Lobby & Club Lounge Breakfast
The lobby area is massive, beautifully designed, and even features an indoor virtual golf facility.

The club lounge is located on the first floor. Instead of heading into the main restaurant, you turn right and scan your keycard at a separate entrance door to get inside.

To be honest, I didn’t expect much from a lounge breakfast, but the quality completely blew me away. For three people, the value was incredible.

The spread was surprisingly generous. There was a wide selection of fresh pastries and bread, along with single-serve yogurts in various flavors topped with plenty of fresh fruit like strawberries, apples, and berries.3

They also served classic breakfast staples like scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. The roasted potatoes were an absolute highlight—easily the best potato dish I had during my entire trip to the US!

You’ll also find fresh fruit slices, cold cuts, cheeses, and Philadelphia cream cheese spread. When the bowl of fresh yogurt ran out, the staff replenished it with individual Chobani cups, which was a lovely surprise. They even had fresh kale juice available if you prefer a healthy start to your morning.

What started as a quick bite turned into a full feast because everything looked so delicious. Having access to breakfast right at the hotel made traveling with parents so much easier, especially considering how expensive dining out in LA can be once you add tax and tip.
Free LAX Airport Shuttle Bus Service
If you need a convenient place to stay near LAX, I highly recommend this hotel. The complimentary airport shuttle service makes getting to and from the airport completely easy!
After landing at LAX, head up to the upper departures level where designated hotel shuttle pickup zones are located. You’ll notice plenty of travelers waiting with luggage.
Shuttle buses run frequently with the hotel name clearly printed on the side, so just hop on when yours arrives. The service is completely free and requires no advance reservation. Taking the shuttle right after a tiring flight saved us time and taxi fares.
Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or on a honeymoon stopover, The Westin Los Angeles Airport is a solid choice.
