Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing my honest Sheraton Gateway Toronto Review, a hotel located right inside Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
With the World Cup bringing so many soccer fans to Toronto, I highly recommend checking this place out if you are planning your trip! ⚽⚽🏟️
This Sheraton gateway hotel is absolutely perfect if you:
- Have a layover or transfer in Toronto
- Arrive on a late-night flight
- Have to catch a super early flight the next morning
The biggest selling point is definitely the location. After clearing customs, it took me less than 10 minutes to walk to the hotel lobby. You don’t need to wait for a shuttle bus or call an Uber. It’s incredibly convenient.

Room Tour & Runway View
The room was extremely clean, modern, and well-designed. But since it’s an airport hotel, the absolute highlight was the runway view!

It was so cool to sit by the window and watch planes take off and land. Don’t worry about the noise—the soundproofing is excellent, so it was completely quiet and peaceful inside.

I stayed in a room with a double bed. It was very spacious, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The warm, subtle lighting also gave the room a really cozy vibe.

Bathrobes were neatly prepared in the closet. There was also a coffee machine in the room, which was a huge plus for a quick caffeine fix in the morning.

The bathroom was spotless. The water pressure was amazing, and it came fully stocked with all the essential amenities you need.

The lobby area was also very nice. The staff were very welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and fast.
