This Sheraton Vancouver Airport Breakfast Review covers my experience with the hotel’s buffet, including the food selection, service, and whether I would pay for it again.😊
I don’t usually pay extra for hotel breakfast. But during my stay at Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, it happened to be a Sunday and most of the nearby shopping centers were still closed in the morning, so I decided to give the breakfast buffet a try.
The breakfast cost around CAD $20, which isn’t too bad by Vancouver standards.
Pastries & Western Breakfast Options

The buffet had a decent selection of pastries, including croissants, danishes, and muffins.
The croissants were probably my favorite part of the breakfast. They were fresh, flaky, and much better than I expected.
There were also scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, yogurt, fruit, and salad.

The scrambled eggs were fine, but the potatoes, bacon, and sausages were a bit saltier than I personally prefer.

The fruit, on the other hand, was fresh and surprisingly good.
Asian Breakfast Section
There was also a small Asian breakfast section.

It included fried noodles, congee, and a few side dishes.
One thing I noticed was that the overall selection wasn’t particularly large. What you see is pretty much what you get.
If you’re expecting a huge buffet with dozens of options, this probably isn’t the place.
Sheraton Vancouver Airport Breakfast Review: My Honest Opinion
One thing that disappointed me slightly was the lack of a live cooking station.
There wasn’t an omelet station or a chef preparing eggs to order, which is something I usually expect from larger hotel breakfast buffets.
The food itself wasn’t bad. It also wasn’t particularly memorable. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really stood out.
The staff, however, were excellent. They frequently checked on guests, asked if everything was okay, and offered coffee and milk refills throughout the meal. Their service was honestly better than the food.
The Funny Part…
For someone who keeps saying the breakfast was average, I somehow ended up going back for three plates.
So clearly it wasn’t terrible. 😂
I was also craving an iced Americano, so I asked for a cup of ice and made my own using the hotel coffee.

That ended up being one of my favorite parts of breakfast.
Would I Pay For It Again?
Probably not.
If I stayed at this hotel again, I’d likely skip the breakfast and grab something elsewhere.
That said, if you have an early flight, don’t feel like leaving the hotel, or simply want a convenient breakfast before a long travel day, it’s still a perfectly reasonable option.
Just don’t expect a luxury hotel breakfast experience.
